Thank you very much. I will strongly suggest you to visit just the north of India. Fewer and nicer people, and a more breathtaking view wherever you go. The south let me down big time because of the population, mostly. They could only look at me as a commodity and all the smiles were fake. Up north this was less pronounced.

Thank you very much mbrandste! I like to hear from people enjoying my photos.

And thank you, 143scooter. I will keep them coming. I'm in the middle of all my exams for the last semester, so it will be a while before I get to work on the rest of the photos from the trip (all 11000 of them). Welcome to the forum by the way! I hope you will enjoy it here with all the kind persons as much as I have.

Thanks a lot Adi! My trip to India was a very mixed experience. The food was very interesting and there were a lot of exciting tastes - the first two weeks. From thereon it all tasted the same and there were no real differences between the dishes. On top of that, my stomach suffered from a chronic stomach ache and I did not have even one pleasant trip to the bathroom. Apart from that and all the tourist sharks, India was incredible! Many, many beautiful sceneries and so much culture and history and I only had 16 GB to capture it all (well, I had the opportunity to empty my card one time, so in reality 32 GB). I definitely had a blast with my camera, which was stuck to my hands for 90% of my waken hours.

My favorite type of photography is with no doubt photojournalism... pictures that tell a story. Well you nailed it here! I really enjoyed browsing through your set, such amazing scenery and excellent, lively portraits. Such originality and beautiful compositions. Bravo!

Six more photos from my trip has been dug out from the mystery mist which is the photos I have from India. This time the preview is small because of deviantArt's new interface design. All photos are still clickable for larger views.
