i'm looking forward to get it! maybe for the Christmas

What a nice Christmas gift

It's perfect time for shoping: have a look at Pentax cash-back in Europe  http://www.pentax-cashback.com/.

I don't understand why Lithuania doesn't appear :( . It's part of Europe  and a E.U. member since May 2003. What a shame  .

Maybe you should pay a visit abroad :) !

:) well, as I looked at that page conserning pentax cashback, I've noticed there Russian federation, which certainly isn't in EU :)

so on which is based that list I do not know.. either way..

have a good time enjoining your k7

Lithuania has a company, which is certified dealer for pentax equipement, and as I've noticed throughout the time, pentax prices for bodies are quite competitive, and various sales are present.. and I hope there will be some Christmas sale.. currently the price for k7 body is: 1050 euros.

I hope for Christmass it'll be at least 50euros less.

see ya..

Bonjour Mystic,

Apart from the cash-back program, prices of the K-7 are down in France. Price street is EUR 950 now :)

The euro is so expensive compared to the dollar  It's time consumer cash in on

Bonjour,

The battery grip is usually recommended for portait shooting and for enhanced handling even in landscape mode, as well as for extended autonomy.

But one of the key feature of the Pentax K-7 is its compactness. And this comes at a price: the camera body could be too short for large or even medium-sized hands. So the battery grip is worth considering.

At first, I didn't want to spend extra money on a grip, but after playing for a while the K-7 for a while, it became obvious the grip was a must.

Check my  review and the  full details.

Enjoy :)

Bonjour,

I'm going to explore the video feature introduced by the Pentax K-7.

So I launched a specific thread  Playing With Video on the Pentax K-7 under the Pentax section.

Enjoy :)

Bonjour,

I'm still very happy with my Lowepro Rezo 190 AW camera bag: it carries all my gear safely.

But it isn't exactly the best when going out-door, especially with the DA* 60-250 f/4 SDM tele-zoom. So I went for the Lowepro Micro Trekker 200.

Check my  User Review on Camera Labs or the  full review with more pictures on my website.

Enjoy :)

Photography is back on my website!

The Pentax K-7 was a great camera but had some flaws. I' was looking for faster AF, better sensibility and reduced noise. All reviews I've read about the K-5 were positive on those points.

Image

Combining the Pentax 100 € cash-back program, a 10% discount from the reseller and a fair price for my former K-7, I decided to update my dSLR for a Pentax K-5.

As usual and as I did for the *ist, K-10D and K-7 as well as for the SDM lenses and accessories, I'll share my  discoveries on an on-the-go basis. Stay tuned :!:

Just a quick note about my website.

I closed all the accounts linked with Google, including webiste, mail, pictures, videos, ...

I've launched a new website about photography, available  here.

The content is currently being transferred to the new website.

See you there ;)
