I just recently got my new FZ35 and I was wondering if its possible to get the blurred background effect when shooting videos with the FZ35. I'm a newbie, so I don't know what lens to get. Would appreciate the help. :D

Hi bibo_m16,

May I wish you a warm welcome to the CameraLabs forum.

As the FZ35 does not have an interchangeable lens I'm struggling to offer you advice on this one. There are accessories which can allow you to add extra glass in front of the main lens to improve the telephoto capability or the close-up capability but I'm not aware of any which allow an effective increase in aperture without a change in focal length. Are you thinking of such an increase in brightness going hand in hand with the operation of a close-up lens? Which lenses were you considering?

Bob.
