out of curiousity. How did you take that shot?
What's the pictures per second speed of your camera etc?

With the battery grip it takes 8fps

Setup: D700 with a 70-200mm f2.8 @ 200mm f3.5 1/640 ISO640. using a tripod and a strong light placed on the left side, The image is hand triggered with a wire remote as I drop the slice of lime. Using a battery grip to add to the speed of the camera. shooting series of about 15 images.

Cool. Im off to find out if a battery grip would speed up my camera ;)
Sure I'm getting a 7D soner or later but that could be a few months down the road..

Finally made the decision on the simple tomato. Sun ripened vine tomato that is. No more trips to the supermarket looking for ideas, i have a fridge full to bursting, and a husband so relieved he can now eat the food instead wondering whether the food on the plates were solely for photographic purposes. By the time i had finally finished with a lettuce (another idea) moving it around the plate it was so wilted it was inedible. Only fit for the rabbit. :lol

Sue

@ some great entries again this month everybody.
