 Post subject: Zeiss Lens questions
PostPosted: Fri Jan 15, 2010 6:50 pm
Hey all,
I have three Carl Zeiss Lenses that I got from my grandmother, they are for a Contax mount. The lenses are:
PC-Distagon 35mm 2.8 tilt shift
50mm 1.4 Planar
135mm 2.0 Planar

I was wondering if it would be possible to get mounts for these lenses to work on my Nikon D90.
Thanks

There's loads of Contax/Yashica to Nikon adapters listed on ebay. It looks like they use an optical element to provide infinity focus. Generally speaking that will work as some teleconverter effect and may degrade quality.

I know of a great website that allows you to convert them to Sony lenses, but for Nikon, all I can say is Google...

Nice lenses by the way! Can you show us some photos (of the lenses themselves)?
