Just a thought though...

Cheers

The theme is shadows, but food could be an interesting topic for future months - so all you have to do is win, and you'll get to pick the topic ;-)

Oh..

SO the rule is only the winner of previous month can finalise the theme of the next months assignment?

Cheers
Mano

That's right! If you win, you get to choose the theme!

And if course, the winner may choose to take suggestions...

Cheers Jay,

Funny old business this finding of a subject that fits the task, sometimes I sweat blood (as I did for Bjorn's 'series of 3' task, the entry for which I squeezed in at the last moment), then sometimes it happens as it did yesterday and a subject just fortuitously drops into my lap. I suppose the old maxim of 'have a camera with you always' holds true.

Mind you, going first leaves one feeling a bit exposed, makes me think of that silly cartoon of the two deer in the forest at the start of the hunting season, one of whom has a large target-shaped birthmark on his chest. "Bu**er of a birthmark Hal" remarks his pal. I know just how he feels!

Good luck folks, I'm ready to be knocked off of my perch.... go to it!

I had the same idea. Never could do it because it was either raining at night, too much clouds, too cold, and no one to help me. Haha

I'm excited though. I should have my entry within the next 2 weeks if my theory on something works out...

Jay, i have finally caught my shadow. I found this one of the hardest assignments in ages. I have taken hundreds of shots and it is with relief that i have finally posted one. Judging by the number of entries, i assume others are finding this one quite tricky too.

Sue

It's really quite tricky - There is an idea jumping through my head but I'll need sunlight for that. Damned clouds... And the temperature here is around -10°C at the moment so it's not very nice outside.

Finally got something posted.

Thought I was gonna miss this month, twas a challenge to stay away from the obvious.

My first concept was to catch a train deep inside from coming out a tunnel, lights on in the distant depths. However, after having risk assessed the location I decided not to

So hope you enjoy my second interpretation
