I'm hopefully getting the Canon T1i next week, but i'll need a good bag. The cost of the lens' mean that i will be sticking with the kit lens for a while.

Two bags have been recommended, the Lowepro toploading zoom 1 and the mini variant.

I don't need the extra space the zoom 1 provides, but i need to make sure the mini won't be too small for this model.

Does anyone know if it will fit ok? or have any other recommendations.

Thanks.

I thinking of getting the Lowepro slingshot 100 camera bag, this one is small and light, should suit you well with that camera and one lens

Yeah, that would fit, bit it's quite a large bag, backpack like. I'm just looking for something big enough to fit the camera, lens and filters in.

Slingshot 100;

the 100 very skinny and I think it fits just nicely, and there room for one more lens when you start upgrading,

Yeah, it will fit fine at the bottom by the looks of it, but you can see the scale of the camera in that pic.
I only want something the size of the camera, that would fit two cameras and lens in it.

When you put the camera side on it fits just right in the middle section, go to PC world and have a look, there not very big.

I ended up getting the Tamrac "something" 7 which is a little back pack, it fits the camera with lens, spare tele lens and the rest of the cables, filters and chargers for the camera.
Might even have room for a small prime lens in there :)
