SUE!!!!
It is a runaway! I am so excited for you, and hope your streak of votes keeps going...there are several that I love...and will be a good fair competition! This is only day 1 of voting..but that is the most votes I ever saw, on day one.
I hate to admit, I voted for myself. So I wouldn't feel like such a looser..
Whooooohoooooo...what a great thing. Just love "On Assignment".

love,
p.

It's a great photo Sue and one which deserves the votes it's had so far. As patti says though, it is only day-one...! That said, you may still want to get your thinking cap on, as even if you don't win this month, a win can't be far away!

It was between Westcoast and Naniani for me, similar idea to capture reflections, Naniani’s shot came out in front, loved everything about it.

Cheers

MIDNIGHT GMT 21 DECEMBER

WE HAVE A WINNER!

Congratulations to Camera Labs' regular Naniani (Sue) for our most decisive win yet, with no less than 53% of the total votes! In second place was Thiyagu, followed by WestCoast, joebaynham and popo in joint third place. As always the winner gets to choose the theme for the next assignment, so Naniani, it's over to you - let us know in this thread...

Gordon

Hi everyone, Naniani (Sue) is away at the moment, but I managed to track her down! Here's her message and her theme for next month!

WOW.I am absolutely gob smacked.  I cannot believe the amount of votes I received this month, and the fact that I have won. There were some great entries, and I feel very very proud that my entry was voted the winner. I would like to thank everyone of you who voted for me and for your comments too, I really appreciate it. I feel like Christmas has come early. Thank you once again, Sue.

P.S. I wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas, and all the best for the New Year.

Regarding the theme for next month, I have given this quite a bit of thought and have therefore came up with the idea of Food. (Food for thought).
I know many will be `fed up` with the sight of food, especially over the festive season, but this is something most of us have to hand, and I hope you will find this a relatively relaxing month, no worrying about the weather conditions or touring the countryside looking for inspiration, hopefully you will only have to look as far as the kitchen cupboard, larder or fridge. So, hopefully, there will be quite a few entrants. A recipe of the ingredients needed for this months assignment dish are listed below.

1 Camera…(any brand will do)
1 flash (optional)
Tripod (optional)
A large heap of inspiration
A small pinch of post processing,
Food colouring ( according to taste) to enhance the dish.
Any type of food of your preference.
Blend the above ingredients together, when happy with the results, serve the prepared dish to the camera lab assignment.
Cooking times will vary, according to settings.
Take all the above with a pinch of salt.

Your entries may be single pieces of fruit, vegetables, herbs, fish , desserts, main meals, anything you like, but no tinned produce will be accepted. Please name your entries, especially if it is some exotic fruit or national dish.
What will also not be accepted is anything you have prepared earlier, photos must be taken in taken in January. The sell by date is January 31st 2010. : O ) Imagine your entry is going on an advertisement board or pictured on a menu, so come on everybody, get creative. Get cooking.
Good luck to you all.

Sue.
