Il-Gradjola
It was built in the 15th Century by Grand Master Claude De La Sengle.
From the Safe Haven Gardens at Senglea Point superb harbour views across to Valletta can be enjoyed. The stone vedette above on the bastion-point served as a look-out post to guard the harbour entrance in the Great Siege of Malta 1565. The sculptured eye and ear above its windows are symbols of vigilance.

Just a little twist on this months theme, although the design is well over 60 years old... infact this engine is only just over a year old....

I know I'm late (which is funny because I took these photos on the 13th); but I would like to know what people think :)

WE HAVE A WINNER!

Congratulations to Camera Labs' regular Naniani (Sue) for our most decisive win yet, with no less than 53% of the total votes! In second place was Thiyagu, followed by WestCoast, joebaynham and popo in joint third place. As always the winner gets to choose the theme for the next assignment, so Naniani, it's over to you - let us know in the November Comments and Questions thread...
