Hi, was wondering if anyone has any kind of experience of the different programes that are avaiable to add the likes of backgrounds, borders and other effects to photos.

A friend of mine has just had a baby, and she has seen a leaflet for a photographer that is taking pictures of the babies and imposing them onto various backgrounds, one was a baby in the middle of a rose, and another was a baby surounded by teddies and kids lettering blocks, does anyone know what type of programe software that would of been used to create these effects, any info would be much appreciated.

You might be able to achieve some gimmicky effects with Photoshop Elements too - check out its page at Adobe's website for more info.

Thanks for the replys, will check out adobes site asap. I have both CS4 and PSE7 however having them and knowing how to use them are 2 very different things.

Hi Utfrag,

If you have PSE7, have a look at the adobe site, they have a video tut on what you want to do. I just bought PSE8 and the help files are pretty much basic so I’m still learning by trial and error and by finding info on other sites.

Cheers
