Some pics I took today at the Old City of Bern, part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

#1 - View of the Bernese Alps

#2 - View of the Old City and the Münster

#3 - View of the Aare river

#4 - View of the Zytglogge

Feedback and improvement suggestions are greatly welcomed!

Regards,
Luis.

Nice shots. Something I really like about #1 . Great job.

Is there anyway to get details/darker colors of the mountains with this type of shot ? I have taken shots like these in Banff and I want to know if there is a way this can be done without ruining the details and exposure in the first half of the shot. Looks nice anyway but just wondering. Maybe a filter?

Hi Goldengloves

I recently saw this video on YT. Basically, the guy is trying to do something similar to what you ask by using an HDR

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2Dpdrh4NEU

Now, I've tried to do that with this same pic #1 (since I took it on RAW), but I can't get the colors to look natural. I guess a more experienced photoshop user could get to job done, well, it's all about practice, practice, practice.
