Who is watching at whom?

We, humans spend at lot of time out in Mother Nature studying and watching the wildlife, but sometime one can wonder who is watching whom…

This red deer wanted to cross the dirt track, it took a very short look at me, what I didn’t get a photo of, and then it took a long look at the young ladies, before it crossed the dirt track, and once on the other side the red deer turn around and looked at the young ladies once more, before it disappeared in to the thicket.

This is my first submission, and I've only had the camera for 2 weeks...Enjoy!


Empty, colorless, still, and so lifeless...

It's only until someone comes by when they start to scream out their existence in the silent room, for they are excited--anxious to be chosen, waiting endlessly...

The moment that one is chosen, it becomes enriched in life, and color is drawn into its world, as well as into the eyes of its beholder.


And thus, the Story comes to Life!

Pentax 18-55mm DAII lens set to 55mm. Manual focus. Tripod, some tungsten lighting supplemented by on-camera flash but reduced by 2 stops. PP: Crop individual images, minor exposure correction, assemble and resize... all in PS.
