I took three shots of the same things. Ap, shutter speed and iso were all the same. The only thing that I changed was the focus point. The first being the tip of the avocado, the second the middle, and the third the butt of it. I took the three shots and "stacked" them together to make one shot. see ref.

In order to have a basis of comparison to combining images I took a single shot of the candle. same light conditions, same ap, same iso. I was just trying to figure out if it was worth the trouble of stacking images in the sense that anyone would even notice or wonder how that shot was accomplished etc etc etc and most importantly if stacking should be left to astro, macro, and landscape photography.
