hi guys,

just wanted to show some of my pics from a drifting competition a couple of days ago..had so much fun going there with a couple of my friends..got to sharpen my panning skills..=) i really like to edit photos..hope its not too much for everyone..hehe

#3 is my fav.You have perfected the pan effect, were you using a tripod for those pan shots?

no i wasn't actually..all the shots taken were all hand held..i am planning to buy a tripod though..=)

I really enjoyed these, especially #3. The sense of speed and lighting looks good. The camera angle also compliments the drifting discipline I think. I imagine you could sell your shot to the owner!

I was a little distracted by the line across #1. Was it a telegraph wire or something? The dusk sunlight hitting the smoke looks great, though.

Also, that white tyre wall in #4 limits your cropping options, IMHO.

I've been looking for some motor sport event here to practice getting shots like these. I'll be happy if they are half as sharp as yours. I'm off to a moped race (!) so theslower panning might be a good intro!

The first shots were great, but for the "under the hood shots", you may want to go wide and get up close from a lower angle, to make it more dramatic. It might work out :)

I like them all but the last one lol, but how did you get so much saturation in it so high ? im digging the colors very saturated and vivid im a newb by the way :)
