Any ideas when his camera will be discontinued or if it will be? Will the price decrease before they take it off the market?

As far as I know its already discontinued, and has been since the announce of the E-600.

Just checked the B&H site.

Only the E-520 with 14-42 kit is discontinued. This may be a B&H decision based on their sales experience.

E-520 with both kit lenses (14-42 & 40-150) is in stock.

E-520 body only is in stock

E-520 superzoom kit (70-300) is in stock

what about the 500 series superb grip?

All the reviews say the E-600/620 have a remarkably good grip for its size.

The grip of the E620 is OK as long as the lens is not too big. When I tried it with the 12-60 lens, I didn't like it very much. The 12-60 on my E500 is OK though.
