Here are some pics I took of Mt Kinabalu, highest Peak of South-East-Asia.

It was cloudy but with a strong wind - so the effects was - unusual for us.
1. Wind and clouds colliding with the mountain top

2. Wider view

3. Full view

4. More details of clouds...hours later

5.UFO clouds..looks silky don't they

6. Mountain view, to the left

Very nice David! 4,5 & 6 are my favorites. The cloud formations are especially interesting and surreal.

Nice shots David, I like 6 and 7 the best. Interesting clouds, they weren't like that when I visited Kota Kinabalu.

no. 4 combined with the foreground of #2: that would be the absolute winner

All of your shots are great David! It's hard to pick a favourite out of all of them, but I guess it would have to be #5 just because it is so unusual. What a great setting! It's probably like here where the mountains appear different in every season and every season has its special and unique views.

It must be nice to live in a part of the world where you have these scenes on your doorstep... here in drab, grey and very expensive South East Berkshire all you get is houses, offices, high tech factories, houses and more bl***y houses.... did I mention houses...

If it's any consolation Roy, today it's drab and grey, it's freezing cold and raining, the mountains are invisible and all I can see is houses too....and it's probably going to be like this for the next 3 months :)
