Camera Labs

I desided to buy myself a compact camera for thoes times when I cant take a big DSLR around with me so I went for the Lumix FX500.

Does anyone have this camera? What do you think of it?

Went to play with one, not impressed. Much prefer the picture quality and user friendliness of my ixus 800 IS. The HD video I'm told isnt as good as a high end dedicated SD camcorder.

I bought the fx500 and I think its a fantastic little compact camera.

I have just bought a FX500 are are very happy with the picture quality but not sure about the video (motion picture) recording.

Can anyone tell me if its normal to get vertical lines through the video when it records very bright sunlight reflecting off something very shiny. When I was recording some dolphins in the water I got lots of these lines everywhere the sun was reflecting off the water and the boats handrail.

I haven't read in any review that this is an issue, so I'm not sure if it's a camera fault.
