Alas, no. They will happily add those to your invoice, though. Expect to add around $100 or more for the grip, and $300 for the VF.

So that's $2400, or about the same as the 7D and a 17-40L.

You pay the price for the privilege of using the best glass in the world.
Made in Germany 8)

The Nikon D3x now has someone to share the price-point

My mom's friend is ordering the S2, I never knew she had such rich friends... So I googled about the S2... OMG  Sorry for my emotions, never thought a camera can be that much, not only the price... is it really worth it?

It troubles me to know a camera can be that superior , I would love to see the difference with my A350. Really nice to know about S2.

Hi folks,

I've made an attempt to split out the Leica M9 and X1 stuff posted after release of those cameras into their own threads. Hopefully I haven't messed up things too badly in doing so, and apologies to those whose posts have got orphaned.

Please continue the Leica M9 discussion here. Thanks. 8)

Please continue the Leica X1 discussion here. Thanks. 8)

And as requested earlier, please continue the Leica S2 discussion here. Thanks. 8)

As this was originally a rumour thread I'll very belatedely do what we usually do and lock it so that discussion continues in the relevant post-release threads. Hope that's OK with everyone.

Bob.
