Camera Labs

I saw that a few of you cameralabbers have a redbubble account and site, and thought they looked really professional and the added bonus of putting my pictures up for sale as i cant sell stock due to my age.

I have only added a few of my recent pieces of work and am still learning, any comments and criticism is welcome.

Spend the couple of bucks to get a real domain name, having a subdomain really looks unprofessional
Other than that, the site's clean and simple.

I agree! Oh and for gear stuff, like on my flickr profile, i used to have a list, but that just really looks amateurish, so i just say '40D and a few lenses'

I do have a list of my gear, and the benefits of having them. I'm not a gearhog, but it shows potential clients what situations I'm prepared for, and it gives them confidence they're not hiring someone who just bought a cheap DSLR with the kitlens

It is, as suggested, hidden in the "about me" section.

Thing is that most potential clients are not interested, nor do they understand all that tech stuff. The best way to get them attracted and show what situations you're prepared for is just to show them good pictures.

I think it's ok to hide some small text about it in the "about me" section, but I'd still not do it really. If anywhere, it belongs in a tech blog for other photographers (which should be a on a seperate site alltogether)
