So, after many friends and family telling me they like my photos and i should do something with them, I am! I love doing things for other people to enjoy so I have decided to sell my photos, in various formats.

Since my mum and granddad got cancer i decided to help the charity 'Cancer Research UK' with making donations to them from the photos i sell.

I have started with greeting cards, making them all myself in my room with a PC, Printer and glue :P
.
I have a friend who owns a pub and he agreed to have a little stand on his bar to help sell them, here it is...

My photos on the wall in his pub...

and I got a space at a local school fair, so i modified a big card stand from local supermarket who were throwing it out, and i sold loads of cards and one big framed picture, i also got asked if i would take some pictures of a ladies dog for her so she can have it framed...

I also made a website and added a shop, (which involves learning a new computer language and loads of trial and error), so people can either buy or contact me via it.

I'm well chuffed and loads of people have said they like my photos and amazed that i did them!

Just thought i'd share my happiness with you all!

Neil

Great job Neil!

I should probably go around to some coffee shops and ask if I could put my photos up there...

Well done Neil.

So are all your photos done on a Nikon D60?

....and there was me being all nieve thinking if I buy myself a Nikon D700 I will take much better photos, yet look where you have got to with just a D60!! Sorry if that sounds patronising, I dont mean it to, I have lots to learn about taking pictures and bow to what you have acheived and I know the D60 is a brilliant camera!

It just shows that the skill in composing a photo must be 90% of producing a fantastic picture and 10% is the kit you use, the icing on the cake if you like....

Amazing Neil, I am truly impressed..... Well done you. 8)
