Hello! I've been away from this forum for a while. Anyway I had a field-day with my D40 and 55-200mm in Kyoto last weekend, some beautiful golden and red leaves to photograph.

Wow Steve, these are great shots. I especially liked the one framed by the straws of grass in the forground, but every one is a gem.

Shot in JPEG with no editing. I've become kind of lazy with touching things up on photoshop, especially as it takes a long time to do anything on my old and slow laptop!

I'm really pleased with them but I think the natural beauty of Kyoto at this time of year did most of the work for me! Theres a few things I'd like to improve with hindsight- for example I love shot 064 of the cat in the foreground, but the focus is on the middle of its body rather than its head.
