Leica has today revealed 'the next generation of Leica Cameras' in just over a weeks time. According to an official video (presented by Rudi Spiller, CEO) there will be a live webcast at 9.00 AM EST on 09/09/09, there could be some numerical hint there, Perhaps a new M9?. Saw an Asian tourist with a Leica M8 the other day. I was quite surprised to see such a camera. The D3 I saw later that day wasn't as unexpected as a Leica...

For novices and professionals... Affordable too?

Thats what thinking about if they release the 'affordable' for the novices probably releasing an entry level Leica DSLR or maybe a affordable rangefinder :roll:

I heard that it will be introduced live at Samy's camera (located in Hollywood, CA USA) ??? anyone can confirm? if so i would love to go !!! oh oh with the south CA CL members too if that's cool.
