Has anyone used this lens with a Nikon body? It has the pull and push mechanism for changing its focal lengths.

How is the focusing speed, color rendetion, sharpness, distortions, chroma, vignetting, etc. of this lens?

I have an opportunity to buy it used for $ 410, please give your suggestion at the earliest.

Appreciate it.

Haven't used it but it has some really good reputation!

Anyway, I think 410$ are to much! In europe you get these thinks for 150€, which makes 215$(US) or 233$(canadian).

I realize it's been awhile since this topic was posted but I thought I would replay anyway. I have the Tamron 200-400 lens and use it with a Nikon D90 and D40. Intially my expectations were low, however I find results are wonderful as long as you have sufficient light.
