As far as I can tell, there are no threads in the gallery about this lens. I don't think it's manufactured anymore but it's widely available on ebay. It's compatible with minolta cameras as well as the sony alpha cameras.

The last image of the egret was a crop from a much larger picture. Yet still reasonably sharp. All of these were handheld.[url][/url]

Is this the manual or auto focus version? I've got a minolta XG-1 that I bought manual focus version of the beercan for. Two years after I bought it, I sold it for a few quid over the price I bought of for on ebay :twisted:
