Pete, did you do any postprocessing?
I found it hard to emphazise the shafts of light in a pic by postprocessing where they were much less contrasty. So I assume it is really important to get them right from the beginning :?

The actual sky was like that, I think I lightened the foreground a bit, but that's all. Just lucky with a snapshot really, although the powershot s45 was/is a very good compact.
