I have a photobank from ca 2005 and now it doesn't really read high capacity cards. It recognizes 2GB compact flash card as 1GB. I wonder if there is any generic firmware that I can use to upgrade its reading capabilities.

This photobank is from Chinese brand Unis, they don't sell this product anymore (good as its a really bad design, I realized as soon as I opened it) and the customer service email bounces so can't expect any help fro them.

Any help in this regard is appreciated.

So you bought a chinese "brandless" cardreader for which you can't get support, and now you want to upgrade it's firmware..?

Just forget about it and buy a new one, mmkay ;)
