 Post subject: Megaladon shark tooth

Hey guys, been awhile since I've posted anything. I thought I'd show you this awesome fossilized tooth that my Dad has. I'm pretty sure it's from a Megaladon, one of the largest sharks that ever lived. It puts the great white to shame as you can see:

It's pretty big, I wish I had a "normal" sharks tooth to show next to it.

Thats pretty cool Shagrath.
Where did your dad come across that?...Not in Kansas I hope?
The scallop draggers off the coast here find them in their rakes sometimes fishing out on George's Bank.

I'm not sure where he found it. I'll have to ask. We do have fossilized fish and sharks out here though. There's so much limestone out here, we used to be under the ocean so there's plenty of fossils to find. I don't think he found this one himself though. Perhaps he bought it somewhere.
