Velbon DF-50 45$
or
Slik U212 Deluxe 130$
or
Slik Pro 340EZ 130$
or
any other tripod you think would be better (Max. 130$ USD)

You may want to get one with a ballhead instead of a panhead, unless you intend to shoot video a lot.

A panhead has the tendency to creep up or down, and is slower in use than a ballhead ;)

Would this be a good solution?

Slik Pro 700DX (only the tripod legs) and Manfrotto 486RC2 Compact Ballhead with Quick Release.
