You might want to change out that GPU whenever you get the chance - it's not a very capable card when it comes to gaming, but it'll be fine for anything else.

I knew you'd say that, although i don't do very much gaming on my computer, thats what i have a PS2 for! Anyway i have played COD 4 at 1680x1050 res without any lag at all, although at 1920x1080 it starts to lag, so it's not exactly an underpowered card

i7 Rig in a few years time? LOL!

I like my i7 but its bearly hanging on with the files i throw at it, its just managing to keep it realtime-ish. (edits are applied in around 0.1-0.4 seconds rather than "instantly")

New i7's are out so i can see prices dropping soon.

i5's will be hitting soon too.

ATI GPU - eugh, There new DX11 tech looks nice and they are beating NVIDIA to the post on that front, but NVIDIA has working tech now with hardware decoding and ofloading from the CPU.

Basically, should have bought an i7 now. Least then the board you buy can support a CPU upgrade in the future. You'll be scrapping the lot when you get a new system now.

I know, i know, money constraints haha but decent system man, should do good for most things.

That's what i thought, it does everthing i need it to do, without any fuss, and by my standards it's pretty darn quick. Maybe thats because i haven't ever used an i7!
