I don't know if this is for "Going Pro" section or not, I posted it here because there is big chance that it will get more views, if not feel free to move it to different section.
Just out of curiosity, does any of you sell pictures on microstock websites and which website do you use? I spent some time today looking at photostreams on Flickr of many CL members, and many of you have stock-like material. Not gonna name anybody but who has it will know.

I don't sell my photos and I don't intend to either, not any time soon.

one of the popular sites for selling pictures is istockphoto.com...personally, i havent used it, but ive heard good things about it in photography magazines

im a member of getty images (http://www.gettyimages.com/) where i send pics in every now and again...They do have a tight entry and selection process, but no harm all the same to pay the bills with a photo now and again..

The ones that I know are free to join and all of them have different way of paying for your downloads.

I joined to Istockphoto, and Shutterstock. I still didn't apply since I don't have any suitable material for stock. But the reason that I joined is because they send me ideas each week to my mail and also they have some training about stock photography and requirenments.

some of the regulations are harsh...

I'm a contributor on istockphoto.com , it sounded amazing at the beginning , the idea that I can sell my photos for money ! ,I didn't upload anything until I got accepted last February ,it was very difficult to get accepted , I had hard times figuring out what's suitable for stock and getting a rejection after another , at last I got accepted but that was just the start , I had some harder times trying to get my first file accepted , but here comes the hardest part , most of the rejections are for technical issues .
(of course after months of getting rejections you'll know exactly what they mean by "suitable for stock")

Just to give you an idea about the technical issues you might get rejections for , I'll copy here some of the rejections' emails I got :
