Got the closest I ever did today. The whiskers are quite clear and even some blood vessels visible in one of the ears.

Same pic as above, but 100% crop from original.

They're rather noisy, what ISO did you use here?
Cheers

exif is intact on those, ISO640. I processed this one from raw with ACR, fiddling with it for detail never mind the noise.

No, i just think a smooth/creamy bokeh would make the bunny look even cuter, but now i have realised that the noise is probably from sharpening in PP!
Thanks for the info Popo!
Cheers

Here's the crop given the neatimage treatment. Quite hard balancing the noise reduction vs detail loss. If I was really motivated I suppose I could manually merge the two, but I'm not :p

Some long range rabbits today.

Image
This was one of a pair being chased by a stupid yappy little dog.

Image
Saw this one in the open but I was at a bad angle. As I moved, it went behind a tree so I sneaked around the other side... got this before I went too far and it spotted me again. It literally disappeared into the ground. Moving closer I found the rabbit hole... it was right on top of it.

Great shots.

Without a decent telephoto I can't get close enough to the wild ones around me.
