Not really sure if this is my best shot ... but with spring blooming I could not resist the urge to do this assignment. My first one. Funny that in Ontario no flower is yet in sight, while here most of the blossom is already starting to disappear again.

Image

Canon SX10IS
Shutterspeed: 1/200
Apperature: F5.7
Flash correction: 1/3
ISO: 200

Not really sure about the rest of it, how much I zoomed etc.. I am still getting to know my camera. Is that enough? And no post processing.

There's a definite theme for this month's assignment, and although I'd love to have done something more creative, I really like this photo and (like all of the other pics of flowers posted here) it just says "spring" to me.

Lens: Pentax DA 55-300mm
Aperture: f/4 @ 55mm
Shutter Speed: 1/1500
ISO: 400
PP: None (don't have an editing program)

since we have really long winters here in canada, people stay indoors most of the time. but, as soon as spring comes, everyone rushes outdoors to enjoy the nice spring weather

this pic is of one of the labs in my college which was empty, so i took the opportunity to capture it. it connects well with the spring theme since people leave indoors to head outside. i also wanted to show something different since most of the submissions here are showing pictures of flowers

i first shot the pic in colour, but i thought that if i shoot in B&W, it would make the pic more dramatic (the colour pic didnt have a wide range of colours anyway)

Camera Model: Samsung L100
Lens and focal length: 6mm
Aperture: F/2.8
Shutter Speed: 1/4 sec. (handheld)
Sensitivity: ISO-80
Post processing: None

Typical wet spring day

Image

I was fortunate enough to set the rules this month and I chose "moderate PP"
Weridly I have not done any post processing to this.

Sony A300
ISO 100
F 5.6
Shutter speed was 1/40 sec
