I must say that I'm impressed by the quality of the KM 5D review made on this site. It's really professional, and the depth of the review is really impressive! A good start for what seems to be a good site!
Thanks for the review!

Hi Julien, thanks for your message, and I'm glad you liked the KM 5D review.

I was very impressed by the Anti-Shake capabilities of this camera, especially since it costs around the same as other budget DSLRs. I just wish that screen had more pixels...

If there's anything else you'd like to see on the site, please let me know!

Cheers,

Gordon

hi gordon,
thanks for the review of KM5D,tho have to admit to reading it, and other
online reviews, after having bought mine.Had read a couple of print reviews prior to purchase, final decision made on basis of having been a
long time Minolta user, from SRT 101b thro XE1, then on to 700si plus a
collection of AF lenses ranging from 24mm to 710mm,also that the price
was right!
cheers,
john.

Hi John, glad you found the review useful.

The KM5D is a great DLSR and the Anti Shake really does work, and sets it apart from its rivals.

Hope you enjoy using it!

Sadly, K-M's impending departure from the camera business with its camera division going to Sony may result in a re-think for intending K-M 5D or 7D cameras. Of course, we might find some real bargains in a few weeks!

Outstanding review! Pulled no punches, and this camera still showed its stuff. Every review I have read about KM 5D's is good to great, and more so the later.

Hello Spaceweasel, thanks for your message and welcome to the forums - glad you liked the KM review - it certainly stood its own against the budget competition.

We can only speculate at this point about what will happen in the future, but Sony's design and electronics coupled with KM's Anti Shake certainly sounds like a compelling proposition for Minolta lenses. Lets hope it lives up to expectations...
