Post subject: Need to buy new iPod!
PostPosted: Sun Apr 19, 2009 3:59 pm
I can't take it any more!

My old iPod Nano 2nd generation ( Purchased in year 2007 ) was nearly dead. I had admit to sacrifice my money collection for up grading new lens in order to buy new ipod. Seriously I still prefer my old iPod rather than the latest Nano looks cool but I really don't like the curve screen design. So I decided to take plunge either the iPod Classic or the iPod Touch. So which is better the Classic or touch ? & don't forget to recommend me a good in ear headphone too!

I think I don't have any chance to buy 70 200 f/4L IS USM Next Year!

Ok, how much music do you have, also do you watch films on your ipod, or just music?

If i were saving for the 70-200 after, and really mainly used my iPod for music, i personally would go for the Classic! But it's all down to personal opinion!

Indeed. I have a 160 GB classic, but, then again: I have 60 GB's of music and a lot of movies...

I have and older 30 gb, witch I use to put my music on and back up my hard drive. So if I ever buy a new one, it's got to have a lot of gb's.

I won an iPod touch about a year ago... and it is AWESOME!!!

it probably is more than what your looking for, but it does everything i could ever need in a portable device, and more. I would look into it, and see, but its more than a normal iPod.

If you're only going to be listening to music and watching the occasional video, the Classic gives you a lot more space for less money. The iPod Touch is really versatile though.

I would go with the classic. With the touch you may be tempted to buy the updates and applications that aren't really needed. The touch is good if you needall those added features. In camera terms its like buying a D700 if you just need a simple P&S.
For your purposes I think the touch would be overkill.

As for headphones, I have no idea. Still rocking the stock apple ones.

I really like my Shure SLC2 in-ears although they are breaking now. Shure has revised their models to fix the issues so if you do go with them, make sure you get the right one.

My earbuds always die because of cable failure, so I buy the cheap sony ones (5-10$). Good quality, low price. :)

Thanks for the recommendation guys I decided to take the Classic version which Looks more larger, Solid & Original. As for Earphone I decided to take a Razer Moray earphone as Temporary earphone, If I have a lot of cash I would like to spend on Shure SE 530 for better noise isolation & Superb Audio quality. ( Obviously Very pricy & not available in my country )
