Hello I recently bought the Pentax K20D and still I haven't found how to create HDR image without having to take three different exposures, cause I heard that it can take three or more exposure in one single picture then the camera makes it in an HDR image without having to use photomatix, someone knows how this works?

You can autobracket, by setting the camera to take 3 photos at different exposures. However, you'll still need to combine the photos manually to get the HDR effect.

ohfrankyboy, just take any picture, and then in the playback mode press function and to the left. add filters... one option will be to simulate hdr effect, there you can choose from three modes of simulating hdr by rotating the thumbwheel..
it's not a real hdr it's a simulation..

You can also shoot in RAW format, and then generate 3 or more different jpegs at different exposure values. You then use an hdr editor (photomatix is one) to generate the hdr.
