Comparing prints to my monitor shows that the colors are dead on accurate with prints from a professional lab. I also got prints at costco and noticed they lost detail in the dark spots but the color was the same... costcos printer must be slightly to dark.

I've recently bought a Spyder2Express since the Spyder1 and Spyder2 are the only models supported under Linux. I'm happy to say that it works a treat and I'm having great fun tweaking photos now. Will know better in a few months time as to whether its made a real difference.
