 Post subject: my first with 50mm

this was my first attempt , i must have shot over 50 pic , cc welcome please

Not bad attempts. However they do look a tad soft, were you using a sturdy tripod? Also the WB looks slightly off, were they shot with a flash or ambient light?

I would hazard a guess that due to the length of the shutter they were shot without a flash? Try using a table lamp or position your setup close to a window. If you use a table lamp you can use a white cloth to diffuse the light. I made a light tent using some old PVC pipe and draped a white bedsheet over the frame and then positioned some table lamps to get the right illumination which was diffused to lessen shadows.

The set up looks reasonable, my only comment here is that you can see wrinkles in the cloth so maybe you can try stretching it out a bit.

Overall pretty good but give it another go bearing in mind the above comments.

Looks Ok but bit soft. As for Pic #1 this remind me something :roll: :lol:
