@Geo:

It is wonderful that your son made it! He must be very brave. So young and such a drama so early in life. I actually had happy tears in my eyes thinking about his first big victory of recovering till today when I saw your photo of him.

May he be as well as he can be and have a long fulfilled and happy life. And may you and your family be able to live a calmer life now.

namasté,
HTG

Geo, may i also wish your family and the `brave little fighter` a happy and healthy future. :) sue

I am embarrassed to call my entry `luck` but this is just my take on the assignment.
Good luck to you Geo.

Geo, I love your submission and think there may be more than "luck" at play here. Great shot. Beautiful, brave boy! God Bless.

21ST APRIL 2009 - POLLS CLOSED - WE HAVE A WINNER!

Congratulations to Sublimity for having the Ace in the hand and winning March's Assignment. It was a very close run though with Sublimity and GCJ neck in neck until the last few hours. So congratulations also to GCJ for coming a close second, and also to geo who came third. And finally, thanks once more to everyone who entered, especially all our first-timers.

This means Sublimity has until April 30th to set the theme for next month's Assignment, plus any conditions. Please let us know in this thread.

Gordon

Thank you Gordon :D

The theme for May is "Delicacy". This word has many meanings, but the concept of the word I want is:

- the quality of being easily broken or damaged; fragility; brittle.
- bodily weakness; liability to sickness; frailty.
(Taken from Dictionary.com)

Some suggestions would be something luxurious, tristful, ephemeral, transitory, and so on. Don't hesitate to make your own interpretations!

Moderate post-processing allowed to develop atmosphere for the concept.
