hey guys!
so i am signing up for a smugmug account. knowing what i know about computers and the internet and photoshop, i know its pretty easy to steal an image from a website.
thats where watermarking comes in. i dont know if i am being paranoid, but i dont want someone stealing any pics of mine, so i watermarked my images. but i am looking at them now, and the watermark kind of ruins the effect of the picture.

what are your thoughts on this? where is the fine line between paranoia and protecting your hard work??

I think you could reduce the opacity a bit more, and remove the lines to the corners.

Also you could make the water mark white.... the blue is very distracting in some of your shots.

thanks for the replies, i am still trying to find the perfect balance of visibility and non-distraction....
i will play around with the colors and see if white makes it a bit easier to look at
