Hi Gordon, Since you have reviewed both of these cameras and they are technically in the same segment, which would you prefer?

G7: A bit heavy and bulky to easily carry around at all times. But great image quality.
LX2: Although with the lens cover it's a bit bulky, it is easier to carry than the G7 and is much lighter, with a similar image quality as the G7.

Hi Shiva, you're actually the second person to suggest I compare the G7 against the LX2, so to satisfy popular demand (!) I've updated the verdict on the G7 review to include the LX2.
