Hi all of you Panasonic lovers! I recently came across a 3-year old Panasonic Lumix FZ15 for 225$ and am considering buying it. Has anyone had experience with this camera and could comment on its features, pros, cons etc? I'd appreciate your opinion.

Hi kost80, I'd first of all compare the prices to more recent models, as sometimes older ones aren't great bargains, especially if they're private sales.

Check out the FZ18, especially now the FZ28 has been announced...

Hi Gordon,
thanks, nice review - FZ18 is indeed a good option to go with. I am actually buying a good point and shoot as a present for someone and was looking at various budget models. I thought FZ15 was a resonably cheap option considering its price 3 years ago but as you pointed out there are newer panasonic models available for a bit more so this is probably the way to go.
