Hi, I just ordered a Panasonic Fz-18 (not received yet) and I'm currently looking for a polarizer and a UV filters. However, I'm kind of mixed up. I heard I need 46mm filters. But do I need an adapter to install the filters? If yes, which one and where can I get it (online)?

And does anyone tried the nobrand filters off ebay?

Another question, is the original filters from panasonic 58mm? I'm really confused what to buy.

nevermind, I checked in the user guide and it says the filter can be installed directly on the lens. The adapter is for the telephoto lens. I'll stick to the user guide and forget about what people says. 8)

It can be inserted in the lens barrel, but the size is a little weird, about 35mm :?
