Hello,this is my introductory post.
Thanks for having me.

I started an interest in "snapping" {I wouldnt dare call myself a photographer} after seeing a lot of photographs on an astronomy site I use {www.cloudynights.com} they have day as well as astro-photography.

I bought my first camera a month ago, Lumix TZ2.
I wanted the TZ3 but Argos were asking £250 then it became discontinued at John Lewis where it was cheaper.
I finaly found the TZ2 in a local camera shop for £139.

Im having a whale of a time with my new hobby.

Im really looking forward to reading all the posts and views on this forum.

Ive REALLY enjoyed watching, Gordon"s Laings video tours, very informative and entertaining.

Below is a link to my webshots homepage if you fancy a look round,Tyneside.

Thankyou.
Steve.

Greetings!
Thanks for the link to your webshots, there are some really cool photos in there, and that panorama into the sun is SWEET.

Thanks very much guys for the welcome.
Jim,that panorama is about 9000 pixels wide when I view it on Google mail. I have to scroll for 8 weeks to see it all :D

Thanks.
Steve.
