Hi to everyone I have been searching it seems forever for a solution to enable me to fix my Panasonic DMC-TZ20 Digital camera . I have removed the Display screen[/color] from the camera ( very simple ) as it was cracked .Can I find a replacement for it ? no. there are lots around saying they are compatible with my camera But one problem They all have just TWO ribbons mine has THREE Question what would the extra ribbon be for Backlighting ? ! I do have Photos of the part but don't know how to attach it to this topic. Any help as to where I could obtain such a screen to replace in my very frustrated camera

Thank you in advance

Corrected the post subject, which mentioned "Samsung" instead of "Panasonic".

A quick Google search does indeed show that the original screen has three connectors, one of which is quite broad and the other two are much thinner. I'm not sure whether this is true, but the third connector might transfer the information related to touch (it is a touch screen after all). Replacement screens may be simpler and not offer touch functionalities, and would thus miss the third connector. Again, not sure if that's the case, but it would explain why all replacement screens you find on Amazon or eBay only have two connectors.
