Are they going to release these two cameras within a short period? Seems like they target the same consumer group.

GF6 is supposed to be available in June, but it is still unavailable on one of the most popular online US stores, so I was wondering.

Olympus OM-D E-M5, Panasonic GF-3, Canon SX40HS

Panasonic Pancake 14mm f2.5, Panasonic Leica 25mm f1.4, Olympus Zuiko 75mm f1.8
Panasonic 14-42mm

The GX7 is definitely higher end than the GF6, with a built viewfinder, hotshoe, stabilisation etc... but if you don't need any of those things then the GF6 is a pretty capable camera...
