A funny thing happened to me while on a photo shoot with my new GX7; I fell in love with my backup camera, the little Panasonic LF1. Now I'm thinking the TX60 is worth a look. Thanks for your prelim review Gordon; a few questions for you. WHAT in the world is Hybred OS? DP Review described it (for the TZ60) as Power OIS plus some other thing - hybred. I tried the TZ40 but sent it back because I couldn't figure how to turn off the touch screen - so I'm happy to be without on the TZ60; heck, you can use your phone for a touch screen now. I'm unsure about 18 megapixels on a 1/2.3 sensor - 12 is enough for anything I do (and that includes a lot of blow ups to 24" x 36"). Have you heard of any rumors of a LF2 with maybe slightly wider and longer lens?

I haven't heard any LF2 rumours, but I wouldn't expect anything until at least a year after the original announcement.

Meanwhile my TZ60 review will be ready soon!

Thanks. My TZ60 is ordered and Panasonic Direct estimates delivery mid March. Dave
