Hi Everyone,
My local camera store had all the new panny stuff on sale so I closed my eyes and went for it. That credit card bill will be terrible. Got the 100-300 last Thursday and on the weekend went to a nearby national park that has buffalo. Very cold and snowing hard on Saturday (Newyears Day). I had the wrong date set in the camera so the pictures say 1 day older than they actually are. All this cold weather is slowing down my brain.
My attention to detail goes way down when I'm freezing, the first 4 pics I shot in generic pattern metering mode, all the white made them a bit dark, so I used the levels in photoshop. The next day I used 1.5 stops exposure compensation to help. Pictures 195 and 201 are from the 14-140, I'll fix that tomorrow.
Greg

Nice shotsw - be great if you embed a couple here as they'll draw people into the thread.
