 Post subject: TZ5 slow focusing
PostPosted: Wed Sep 15, 2010 4:05 pm
I'm not sure if I'm overreacting or not, but I think there's a problem with my TZ5.

I use the TZ5 almost daily, it's a great travel compact and the results I get with it are great, especially when after some PP and resizing.

But recently it looks like the camera is working kinda slow. It seems to focus slowly, sometimes it won't focus on the object even though the object is in the clear, and sometimes under the sunlight it decides to shoot with a shutter speed that's obviously too slow.

If you're familiar with the TZ5, you know it has many automatic options but the manual controls are basically inexistent. So I'm at the mercy of the presets.

Could that be a sign of wear and tear? Is there a way to determine how many photos did the camera take so far?
