hi,
I do not own but have done a lot of research on it . It has excellent image quality for its prize. It even beats some of the entry level DSLRs sometimes and much more compact and light in weight. its touch screen feature is also great, if you are not comfortable with it ,u can switch it off and go with conventional button control mode. Its electronic viewfinder is very very good compared to ones existing in the market. I want to buy this camera but was just wondering how good it would be for movie recording. anybody has and hands on experience with its movie mode? how good it is compared to a camcorder?...any comments guys?

I am planning on getting a panasonic g2 for my birthday, i will be using it mainly for sports/action phoyography (especially for skateboarding) and i was wandering if it would be a good buy. I am planning on getting it with the standard 14-42 mm lens along with the Panasonic DMW-MS1 sterio lumix microphone.

So basically would this be a good buy for me
