The Panasonic G1 meets the micro FourThirds format (not to be confused with the non-micro version). Lenses to that format will be ok. At the moment, that leaves you with Panasonic (some in conjunction with Leica) and Olympus.
If it is worth changing cameras depends on what you see your future needs are.
